Development status of recycling and reuse industry

  • Detail

Plastic recycling industry development status quo

plastic has been born for a hundred years, and is widely used in agricultural production, building materials, home appliances, electronics and electrical, automotive, packaging and other fields. Plastic products have already become an integral part of people's daily life. Most plastic materials are renewable and are typical resource-saving and environment-friendly materials. They are playing an increasingly important role in energy conservation, water conservation and the development of circular economy, "said queein Chang Manson, CEO of eelcee. Through the organized recycling and the development and utilization of green plastic resources, the circular economy mode of production use recycling is realized, which not only creates higher economic value, but also reduces the pressure of resources and environment, which is the concentrated embodiment of the concept of green plastics

the plastic products industry is an important part of China's light industry, including plastic film, plate profile, plastic pipe, foam plastic, artificial leather, synthetic leather, packaging box and container, daily-use products and other sub industries. With the continuous expansion of the application field, domestic plastics are often treated as waste. The average annual development rate of the product industry is more than 10%. In 2008, 16000 Enterprises above Designated Size reached, the output has reached 37.13 million tons, and the total industrial output value has reached 963.8 billion yuan, accounting for about 10% of the total output value of the light industry, accounting for 1.9% of the total industrial output value of the country, occupying an important position in the national economy

the contradiction between the rapid development and stronger performance of the plastic industry and environmental protection has become increasingly prominent. With the continuous development and expansion of the industrial scale, and the continuous increase of product varieties and output, the recycling and reuse of waste has become a global focus. Due to its stable chemical composition structure, it is difficult to decompose and disappear naturally. If it is not handled properly, it will have a negative impact on the environment. As the problems of environment, energy, safety and human health are paid attention to, green plastics are paid more and more attention. Advocating the consumption concept of green and environmental protection, developing new eco-environmental materials, formulating relevant environmental protection laws and regulations, standardizing the behavior of manufacturers and consumers, improving the recycling system, and constantly improving the utilization level of waste plastic resources relying on scientific and technological progress have become the contents of the development of green plastic industry. The author believes that improving the plastic recycling system, improving the recycling level of plastic resources, and developing new eco-environmental materials (i.e. biodegradable plastics) are the key points of development

I. Development Status of plastic recycling industry 1 According to the figures released by Worldwatch Institute, the recycling rate of plastic products in the world is less than 10% every year. The recovery rate in Europe is relatively high. According to the annual report released by plastics Europe, the recovery rate of plastics in Europe, including material recycling and energy recovery, exceeded 50% in 2006, an increase of 3% over 2005. Among them, the monthly recycling accounts for 19%, and the energy recovery accounts for about 31%. Seven European countries (Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium) achieved a recycling rate of 80% in 2006, but half of the EU member states still have a recycling rate of less than 30%. The recycling rate of plastics in Japan has also reached 26%

the above-mentioned countries not only have a relatively high level of plastic recycling, but also put forward the requirements of green design. Recyclability and easy recycling have become the first choice of product raw materials and the premise of product design. For example, the EU recently implemented the EUP Directive, which requires environmental protection monitoring of the whole process of imported electronic and electrical products from production to scrap. This is the third environmental protection directive for electronic and electrical products issued by the EU after the RoHS directive and WEEE Directive, and the monitoring scope is broader. The EUP Directive requires electronic and electrical products to use non-toxic, low energy consumption, non polluting or slightly less polluting raw materials, and renewable and recyclable materials to improve resource utilization. It stipulates that electronic and electrical products can enter the European market only after obtaining certification. EuP Directive introduces "green manufacturing" into the whole life cycle of products, including "green raw materials, green design, green production, green packaging and use, green recycling and treatment", among which "green raw materials" and "green packaging and use" will have a significant impact on the plastic products industry
